Franklin Township supervisors approved a request by the Pohopoco Rod and Gun Club to host a youth fishing day on May 15 for youngsters at the Phifer Ice Dam Park. The event will include 300 trout, with some fish 16 inches or more.
Supervisors also discussed a second request by the organization that will include having regular stocking of trout at the Phifer Ice Dam Park by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.
