A bill is under discussion in the state legislature that will raise the level at which municipalities have to pay prevailing wage on work they have done. East Penn supervisors approved a resolution at their March 5 meeting in support of the legislation. The resolution will be forwarded to Rep. Doyle Heffley.
In public comment Harvey Keiper asked why properties were not being hooked up to the West Bowmans sewer system. He was under the impression that when the township said it would file liens on those properties that it intended to do the hookups.
