Three Tamaqua men who pleaded guilty Thursday in the Schuylkill County Court to criminal charges received jail sentences imposed by President William E. Baldwin.
Cory Michael Whitley, 18, of 4 Rose Street, Tamaqua, on a charge of aggravated assault on James Medvetz, was sentenced to serve 16-32 months in a state correctional facility and will receive credit for spending 227 days in the Schuylkill County Prison. He was was fined $200 plus $50 costs on a charge of driving while his operating privileges were suspended.
