Lions Club to meet
The Nesquehoning Lions Club will meet on Tuesday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at Lengyel's Restaurant. Plans to update the Veteran Memorial on Catawissa Street will be discussed.
Anthracite Little League Women's Auxiliary
The Women's Auxiliary to the Anthracite Little League will meet on Monday, April 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Meed's Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St. Plans for the June Home Run Derby will be reviewed. All hands available are needed.
