A Lansford woman was sentenced to a county jail term on Thursday after pleading guilty in Carbon County court to a drug dealing charge. She was one of 16 defendants to enter a guilty plea before Judge Steven R. Serfass.

Carissa Sandefer, 20, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-heroin. She was arrested after she sold four bags of heroin to a confidential informant (CI) working for the state Attorney General's office. The sale was made on April 6, 2011, in the 100 block of W. Patterson St., Lansford.
