A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:50 p.m. on July 6 at the Five Points intersection in Mount Pocono.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said Luis Maisonet Jr., 41, of Tobyhanna, was traveling eastbound on SR940 and approaching the intersection when he went off the road into a wooded area.
Maisonet was found to be under the influence and was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of injuries and a blood test.
