Last weekend, Halloween in the Park was held at Memorial Park in Jim Thorpe.
The event, hosted by the JT National Night Out (NNO) Committee and the JT Community Watch, featured pumpkin painting, games, food, a campfire, Sponge Bob Squarepants, and hayrides. Many attendees came dressed in Halloween costumes.
"We want to continue to have family events in the park," Jim Thorpe Community Watch Coordinator, Jamie Solomon stated. "We also want to get more youth involved with events here at the park."
