A woman was injured Saturday morning when involved in a crash along SR903 near the Penn Forest Township and Jim Thorpe border. The crash occurred at 6 a.m. as the female drove south and apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Her car swerved to the left crossing the roadway leaving the left berm after striking a set of guardrails. The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to the Lehighton hospital. The Penn Forest Township and Jim Thorpe fire companies responded to the scene. Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
