October 24, 1953 Stan Michalik scores a pair of touchdowns to help lead Summit Hill to a 20-7 win over Blythe Township. The Hillers' Joe Yalch opens the scoring with a two-yard scoring run, which is set up by Bobby Breslin's interception. Michalik extends the lead early in the second half when he scoops up a fumble and runs 98 yards for a touchdown. After Blythe gets on the board, Michalik gives his team some insurance by catching a 50-yard scoring pass from Yalch.
