The Summit Hill Community Center has a new name.
It will now be called the "Hilltop Community Center."
The new name was determined by the Summit Hill Community Improvement Organization (SHCIO) and then approved this week by Summit Hill Borough Council.
Approval by the council was by a 5-1 vote, with councilman Michael Alabovitz casting the only opposing vote.
It was explained that SHCIO had a contest soliciting entries from residents of the community to name the building. The group then gave its recommendation to the borough.
