Retail theft
Criminal charges were filed against Denise Rex, 61, of 1105 Hamilton Street, Lehighton, for theft by deception, and five counts of forgery. The incident occurred on April 29, 2008, in the 700 block of Lafayette Avenue.
Criminal charges were filed against Lorene Goerlitz, 36, of 3763 Forest Inn Road, Palmerton, for retail theft. The incident occurred on Oct. 8 at 1:14 p.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.
