A rear-end crash occurred in a construction zone along Interstate 81 in Kline Township, Schuylkill County Tuesday. State police at Frackville said the crash occurred about 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Troopers said the crash occurred in an area where the two southbound lanes narrow to a single lane due to a temporary construction zone traffic pattern. Troopers said a 2012 Toyota Corolla was behind a 2013 Freightliner tractor with trailer. The rig, operated by Peter Juers, 53, of Millville, Minn., braked due to slow traffic. The operator of the Toyota failed to stop and rear-ended the trailer.
