State police at Frackville are investigating a theft incident in Schuylkill County involving PennDOT equipment.
Troopers said an exhaust pipe and air cleaner from a backhoe owned by PennDOT was stolen sometime between 2 p.m. on Nov. 15 and 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 16. The backhoe was parked along Forest Lane at Big Diamond Road, in Cass Township.
