Barry Nelson George, 54, of Blakeslee, has been arrested by state police at the Fern Ridge on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said the charge is a result of a one-vehicle accident that happened around 8 p.m. Jan. 12 in Sun Valley, Chestnuthill Township.
Police said George was driving a 1999 Ford truck northbound on Toll Road in the township when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel off the southbound shoulder of the road and strike a ditch. Police said the man left the scene and was contacted at his residence.
