Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Barnesville Drive, SR54, (Ryan Township), Pine Creek Drive (Rush Township) and Fairview Street, following a three vehicle accident that occurred just before 4 p.m. on Sunday in Barnesville. The accident involved a maroon Nissan Maxima, maroon Saturn station wagon and a blue Chevy Cruze. A woman was treated for minor injuries. Responding were firefighters from Hometown, Delano, Barnesville and Mahanoy City. Also responding were Tamaqua ambulance and Rush Township and Ryan Township police.
