A Nesquehoning man who is serving a long stretch in state prison for armed robberies in York County has admitted to the armed robbery of a Redner's Warehouse Market clerk in January.
Keith Michael Pierce, 48, who last lived at 135 W. Ridge St., appeared before in Carbon County Court Judge Joseph Matika on Thursday. Pierce, who was shacked and handcuffed, showed little expression as he admitted to threatening the Redner's clerk with a knife at 6:06 p.m. Jan. 31, robbing her till of $380.
Matika deferred sentencing pending a pre-sentence investigation.
