Break-ins, theft incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported on two burglaries and theft incidents probed by troopers.

Troopers said the Torco Supply Company property in East Penn Township, Carbon County, was entered sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 5 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 6. Removed was a welding machine and tools.

The residence located at 2115 Upper Smith Gap Road, in Saylorsburg, Monroe County, was entered sometime between Nov. 3-5. Removed was multiple Bostitch, Mikita, and Dewalt tools, and a Yamaha generator. The stolen items are the property of Larry Charles Stametz, of Wind Gap, troopers said.
